My mother moved into 1103 Standish Ct. in 2008. Her friend had previously lived in same unit which had water, dampness, and black mold problems, which is why her daughter moved her. My mother made numerous requests for help, had furniture and other items ruined. Julia and Wayne Reece never resolved problems, and seemed to resent her complaints, and asked my mother to leave by 7/2016. The interactions I have had with them--well, Julia can be rude, and Wayne, not sure he understands what you are telling him, and one of his responses to my mother was, "you are lying." The front bedroom I stayed in 12/15, the carpet was wet to walk on during the amount of rain. I reminded Julia of- this 7/16, she replied, "I didn't know." This organization has a captive market with older retirees, and no lease.. I have pictures of where wet carpet had actually stained under furniture. My mother suffered respiratory problems from mold and dampness. My mother was blamed for outside line that was cut connecting heat pump, which caused furnace problems last winter. I only hope the next tenant doesn't suffer; with quick paint job and carpet replacement. There are other tenants who are fearful of the these two, and don't like to ask them for anything. My mother is 87, and is not the easiest person to deal with, but she was in real estate for years, and knows about living accommodations. These units are old, built in the 1960's, I believe. My recommendation to next tenant, have a good attorney, good renters' insurance and plenty of money to fix problems of mold, water, etc.
